AFL Afterschool Reading Club Grades 3 – 4
October 17 @ 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 3:30pm on Tuesday, repeating until November 14, 2017
Welcome to a new year of Afterschool Reading Clubs at the Annville Free Library. During each session of this 7-week program, Miss Cindy, Children’s Librarian, provides themed programs that include read-aloud stories, activities, games and crafts. Again this fall we will be incorporating some math fun with games like Crazy Card Club, Firefighter Training, Road Trip, Got Rhythm, Laser Maze Craze, Three-Ring Circus, and Daring Darts. These activities are provided by Crazy8’s Math Club, a division of Bedtime Math (bedtimemath.org), and are new & different from last year’s games.
Please remember that there is NO afterschool library program of Annville-Cleona schools close or dismiss early for inclement weather or other emergencies. Bus transportation will be provided for registered A-C students to the library from school, and parents must pickup children at the library at 4:30 pm.
Registration forms are available at the library or at the school office.
This group is limited to 20 children and registrations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis, by date the form appears in the school office. You can assume your child is registered unless you receive word from the library that the class is already full.
PLEASE NOTE: Annville Elementary students who register for Afterschool Reading Club will automatically be placed on the library bus on each of the above dates unless you send a note requesting that your child NOT attend on a particular day.
If you have any questions regarding this procedure or any other questions please call Miss Cindy at the library at 717-867-1802 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Also note that home-schooled students and students from other school districts are welcome to participate, but families must provide their own transportation to and from the library
