Lebanon Community Library 2008 Appeal
Help Us Reach Our Goal of $25,000 with Your Contribution!
The library needs your help! The following are personal stories from patrons which bring to life the value of library service:
 |
I like using your website
to look for books and request them online. It’s great to come in and have them waiting for us when we get here. We also love the Summer Reading Program. We get lots of free books! - Jessie Green

I like getting Pokemon stuff: books and videos! - Jacob Green

I love books. I have always loved the feel and smell of books. I love holding books. The library is important to me because through books I am opened up to worlds I may never visit. I get supreme pleasure visiting other countries and meeting new people.
My life is enriched through reading.

The Library's many services are extremely valuable to us.
The help with research material while I was in nursing school was a godsend. My children have always enjoyed the many programs available to them. My wife enjoys volunteering and taking advantage of the different classes offered.

Every year the Lebanon Community Library faces new financial challenges like our diverse patrons. Children search for picture books; teens request books, music, and the internet. Older patrons want titles in large print, audio books, and computer classes. Plus bestselling fiction and informative DVDs are always in demand. With the rising cost of materials the Library’s dollars are stretched.
So we are turning to you, the community, because we need your support. Please help us by sending a check to the library today. Your contribution will enable the
library to continue to serve the community and provide a cultural and educational gathering place.
A gift in any amount will be much appreciated. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Jayne Tremaine
