Grades 5 to 9
Summer Reading Program Themes: “Make a Splash” and “Passport to Your World.” Pick up your Activity Passport at the Library. Each time you read and complete a challenge, you earn a prize, with six challenges in all. For every book read, you may enter to win a special prize. Students who have completed 4th grade may choose between “Make a Splash” or “Passport to Your World.”
Teen Programs - Tuesday Evenings
All teen events held in the Phoenix Youth Center, lower level of the Palmyra Municipal Building. Events are free, but registration is required. Sign up in the Library or Youth Center.
June 15 - Battleship & Board Games. Battle your buddies from 6:30–7:45. Snacks provided.
June 22 - Pirates & Pizza 5:30-8:00. Dress like a pirate–there will be a contest! Watch Pirates of the Caribbean (MUST have permission slip).Pizza provided. Registration required.
June 29 - Watercolor Painting 6:30–7:45. Paint with watercolor and enter your masterpiece in an art contest to win a prize. Snacks provided.
July 6 - Splash, Soak, & Sundaes 6:30–7:45. Get soaked with water games from! Create your own sundae!

July 1 – Water Cycle Day: explore and experiment with water
July 8 – Pirate Day: make a shark hat and learn about pirates
July 15 – Day at the Beach: make a t-shirt and bubble blower for fun in the sun!
July 22 – Lancaster County Environmental Center presents “Creatures That Live Near Water”
July 29 – Summer Reading Party
