Apollopalooza @MAT!

July 18 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free

“The Eagle has landed. That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” Neil Armstrong uttered those words fifty years ago as he took his first steps on the moon after the Apollo 11 spaceflight landed on the moon’s surface in July 1969, and we’re celebrating the 50th anniversary of that momentous occasion this Summer! There will be a brief viewing of footage from the moon landing, STEM and other activities, and light refreshments for children ages 8+. All activities will take place in the library’s second floor meeting room. No registration required for this free event! Visit our Summer Learning Programs page for the complete 2019 Summer Learning schedule.
