Allen Theatre invites local filmmakers to submit their film shorts chronicling coronavirus experience, togetherness, and triumph over the pandemic!

Check out guidelines 👇 in the caption below.Hi everyone! I hope this post finds you healthy and safe. We have been going through some rather tough times because of Covid-19. The Allen Theatre and Backstage Café would like to host an event to celebrate the victory over this nasty virus. Once the Governor gives us the green light to open, we want to show a collection of short films, created by you, that chronicles the struggles, the togetherness, and the triumph over Covid-19! Please remember, this is NOT a competition, but a celebration! There is no cost to you and the event will be free to the public. Please follow the guidelines below for your submission:
1. Film can be a movie, slideshow, or combination of both.
2. Must be a digital format submitted on an USB drive or DVD.
3. Movie must be 3 – 5 minutes in length
4. Title must be, “Together, We Did It”.
5. Include credits at the end, which is part of the total length of 3 - 5 mins.
6. Mail all entries to: Allen Theatre

*You may drop off your entry in the cafe mail slot**
7. It must be your creation to avoid any copyright violations.
8. Include your name and contact number in your package
9. Be creative, have fun, and be safe!
